（中央社記者謝佳珍瓜地馬拉市15日電）總統馬英九出訪瓜地馬拉，今天早上沒有外出跑步，只在健身房跑跑步機；馬總統運動前一口氣做了80下伏地挺身、80下仰臥起坐，並踩幾分鐘腳踏車熱身。
馬總統昨天率團抵達瓜地馬拉訪問，今天一早起床，身穿背後有中華民國國旗的飛虎隊T恤，清晨6時出現在下榻飯店健身房，準備跑跑步機運動。
跑跑步機前，馬總統一口氣做了80下伏地挺身，只花了1分8秒，接著馬上做80下仰臥起坐，並踩腳踏車。
馬總統說，他昨晚約11時30分、12時睡覺，一早起來運動會累；面對媒體詢問是否比較喘？總統說，瓜地馬拉海拔1700公尺，空氣較稀薄，要吸入比較多氧氣，過一下就習慣。
媒體記者詢問總統為何不到戶外跑步，呼吸「尼加拉瓜」新鮮空氣？馬總統不忘糾正媒體是「瓜地馬拉，此瓜非比瓜，國名都有瓜」。
馬總統表示，他原本想跟在美國一樣，到戶外跑步，但隨行人員告知「路線不是很好」，因此在健身房運動。
馬總統上午將與隨行媒體早餐餐敘，之後開始今天的參訪行程，包括拜會瓜地馬拉最高法院院長，在中美洲議會發表演說，並接受國際通訊社專訪。1050315
